Engraving

Technology

With this method, the inscription on the workpiece is removed by machining using a milling cutter. Often, the second step is to fill the engravement with color.

Engraving is a machinig method. The ablation of material is done by a milling cutter. Different depths in the material can be achieved. Additionally, the engravement can be filled with colour. Special two-layered plastics can be processed for shield production.

The engraving is a computer-operated procedure, several vector graphics can be used. Another advantage is the possibility, to work with serial numbers. Engraving is a permanent marking.

The maximum engraving format is 610 x 410 x 70 mm.
